SSR integral a2's ... good wheels?

Im looking at a set of these slightly used, 16x8. Have to admist I dont really know much about that brand of wheel. Are they a good quality? Any estimates on weight, etc?

EL PAALO 06-20-04 10:23 PM

High quality.
~17 lbs
You don't know about SSR?

Rxmfn7 06-20-04 10:29 PM

Lol..yea its not like Ive never heard of them, just never really had any personal experience with them. Thanks

EL PAALO 06-20-04 10:40 PM

btw, generally just referred to as integral in the u.s.
proper model name is integral A2 though.
discontinued so tough to replace also.

Great wheel... only problem is they don't make them anymore, so if you bend one, you're gonna have a tough time finding a replacement. The good thing however, is that io've never heard of anyone bending them. They're forged, and tough.

i currently have these rims, i live in ny so the roads arent ideal, but i havent even came close to bending a wheel, ontop of that they are a very light weel, and they look bigger then what they really are, for instance i have 16's but everyone that seems them swears they are 17's,
p.s- i have a set for trade in the wheel section.

Yea I know you are pretty much the reason I posted this thread :p: I PMd you on NoPistons wanting to buy them flat out. I dont have any wheels to trade you, unless youd be intersted in these:

sorry i doubt those offest's would fit on my fd, if i dont get any trades , they may be up forsale in a couple weeks.

SSR Integral A2's... they are tough.

Many years on my car here in Montreal and they're still straight... if you know the state of the roads here... it means a lot.

I've got them on my FC and like them. Just kinda wish they were black.

awesome wheels!!!! They look really nice too. I have 18s on my FD, yeah they do look bigger than what they seem to be. Overall very nice rims.

I have six of the SSR Integral A2s in 9 x 17 with 45 mm offset wrapped with 255/40-17 tires. The SSRs are straight and true, and the bright silver finish is handsome and durable. You probably will not bend an 8 x 16 Integral with 225/50-16 tire.
