Springs close to stock ones for FC
Can somebody point me an option for springs which are close to stock ones, my stock springs are worn out, but a new OEMs costs an arm and a leg, tried Eibach Pro Kit already - too stiff, we have awefull roads here...
Any input will be welcome! |
tried replacing them with..low-mile stock ones?..

racing beat, or ask in the for sale section for some use oem springs i bet there are going to be a lot of replies.

Tein's are cheap and work. I think they're the softest out there.

Did you change your shocks?
Are they original? I dunno what you're smoking, but the Eibach Pro-Kits are initially SOFTER than stock. I had them, and I hated them! -Ted |
yea, the pro kits were pretty soft when i had it.

S-techs are a 1 inch drop but I think they are also too soft.

Hi!
Thanks for your replies! Yes, i have replaced shocks with KYB GR-2 and Gas-A-Just to retain stock suspension feel more or less (believe me roads are really bad here). As for Eibachs i bought them off from eBay, and they appeared to be too low and too stiff, so i have some thoughts that they're a fake Eibachs... Although there were stickers and booklets inside the box and springs are looking as original Eibachs... I can post a pic how low the car became, and actually it became harder to control it, car started to 'think' before starting a sharp turn i would describe it as an understeer... Well after a week i installed back stock springs... |
