Spring rates for different springs
 

As titles says I'm looking for the best spring available. I'm setting up my FC for street and some auto x/drifting but my budget is tight and I don't want to spend over 700 bucks. I also don't want to go and buy some half a$$ coilovers. I'm either going with Illuminas or AGXs. The springs I've been looking at that fit my budget are Intrax, Tanabe gf210, and Tien S tech. The only spring rate I found are for Tanabe and they are 3F/2.5R kg and up to a 1.5in drop. Intrax are 1.75 drop but I can't find spring rate anywhere. Same with the S Techs. So if anyone can shed some light on this please do so. Thanks

Have you consider Koni Yellow w/ Ground Control kit? The GC kit uses Eibach Racing Springs, which you can pickup in different spring rates. I had this on my FD and it worked out great, it gave me the flexiability of switching out different springs rate and adjust ride height. Brand new, they're probably going to be a little over your $700 budget, but you can probably pickup a nice used set for alot less.

I would love to get those but they are around 1200 brand new. For that I could go get some stance or tein coilovers. I'll probably will get them later on.....way later on.

Unless you have to have brand new ones, you can pickup a nice set of pre-owned coilover (Tein SS) for a good price. If you know you're going to be switching to coilovers, why not wait and save up for those. I wish I would have done that with both my FC and FD. I ended up spending way to much on shock/springs, which I ended up having to let go for cheap when I switched to coilovers.
