spring rates???
 

i thought about coilovers in the past but i finally gave up on them since i know i would not use all the different options they have. im just going to go with some springs. what i am looking for are the different spring rates they have. this is what i know and correct me if im wrong.
RB 7% stiffer(my buddy has them and they feel nice) allows for slightly over an inch drop
eibach????allows for 3/4 inch drop
H&R????? allows for over an inch drop(progressive)
what else is there. include spring rate and drop please. i will eventually run these with koni yellows so the drop isnt an important. i can adjust the height with the shock

Or you could just go with the Ground Control coilover kit. It allows you to run with 2.25" or 2.50" ID springs. They use Eibach linear springs in all their coilover kits, and you can custom fit your spring rates. And if you don't like the rate, it's only $55/pair to change them. BTW, the M2 coilover kit is the same thing ... Ground Control actually makes it for them.

i always liked GC. i really think that is my choice if i do CO's since JIC and tein just have too many features i wont use. i also like the fact that konis can be bought anywhere and dont need to wait forever for a blown shock to be rebuilt. they are just pricey initially. i thought they were 50/spring though. if they are 55/pair that is a killer deal

Adjustable coil-overs have a very practical advantage for anyone running them -- you can set the ride height yourself. If you get a little rub, no problem, just raise it up a bit. If you get rubbing problems and can't change the ride height, you have many fewer options and most of them are expensive. Springs for coil-overs are more like $55 per corner, but there are many rates to choose from and that is still cheaper than vehicle-specific springs if you decide to make a change.
