Speedbumb problem. Airbag suspension or other?
 

Hi I am recently new to the FD world and on my daily travels to school I have to cross a hefty load of speed bumbs. As you know rx7s are typicaly low and bottoming out is an occurence.

What would be my best bet? My friend suggested an airbag suspension kit but I know they are expensive, but how much are they for a decent set?

He also suggested a koni 10point suspension kit if I do not want to dish out the money for airbag suspension.

Which do you think would be the best bet for the money?

How about just slowing down? It's free and better on your car.

What suspension mods do you have? And please don't mention air suspension, it makes me twitch in a postal sort of way....

First hand experience with air bag suspension. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT get an airbag suspension.If you think speed bumps are bad now just wait and see how hitting a rock will feel if the air system goes down.My air ride susp. failed and I had to drive 60 miles to take it to the dealer and let me tell you that was the most misseriable ride i have ever been on in my entire life.Not only are they $$$$$ to get and install,they are $$$$ to maintain($2300&change when my air ride susp. went down):sad:. Dont mess up the already great susp. of the fd.Take rynberg's advice, for he is 100% right.

Before i get flamed the air suspension is on my range rover not my fd.
