Setting up FC "street" car.
Its time to start ordering suspension stuff for my FC. I am trying to finish this project up before I start on my FD. When its all said and done the car will put down in 400 RWHP neighborhood and will be driven on the weekends and probably twice a year at track days.
I already have a set of Kumho V700 R compounds to help it stick to the ground. I don't want to go overkill, but I am not afraid to spend money the car, looking for some suggestions to help set of the cars suspensions. Thanks |
For better than entry level without going coilover I would suggest getting Tokico Illuminas or KYB AGX and RSR RAce Springs. This is a great setup.
Then you can get Ground Control Camber/Caster Plates, and Tein rear pillowballs for the FC. Next would be to get the toe eliminator bushings, AWR indpendent rear camber adjusters, and any other minor mods like adjustable sway bar endlinks so you can setup preloads and such. This is what I am doing on my GTUs as I sold my coilovers since in my age i couldn't hang anymore. lol. Let me know if there's more you are looking for. I hvae the majority of this stuff in stock. |
Why not go coilover?

Exactly. I had coils and moved to the setup i suggested above. Coils can lose their "flavor" if you're not a hardcore track guy or pretty tolerant. Since you said "street" i suggested this.
I'm bringing this stuff in to offer a complete fully assembled package for the FC guys. Rishie |
Whats the drop and spring rate on the rsr race springs? I might sell my flta2's and go with a set of konis.
