S2000 rims on FC.Is it possible???

Greetings from Greece.

My cousin will change rims to his S2000 and i was wondering if it is possible to install the stock S2000 rims on my FC.Does the bolt pattern match???
Any ideas????

I thank you in advance.

Don't do it! Honda wheels on a RX7??!? No...

dude people put mustang rims on them all the time...just like spraypaint the H or something.

Bolt pattern matches. Don't recall if there will be a centerbore issue. Offset way too high, will need spacers.

aren't they skinnier?

EL PAALO 06-05-04 01:57 AM

depends on the fc wheels you have now.

rears are wider than any of the stock fc wheels at least.

oh wow... i'm an idiot. i thought the question was with FD wheels...

s2k wheels have the same bolt pattern and both the fronts and rears have a +50 offset. they are 16x7 and 16x7.5

That differs quite a bit from the information I got from the s2k board.

First of all thanx for your replies.
Right now i dont have any money for rims(you need at least 3000 euros to buy some decent rims and tires in Greece) so the S2000 rims will be fine for my FC.

So ...can i use a +50 offset to my FC and 16x7 and 16x7.5 rim size???

EL PAALO 06-09-04 11:34 AM

I was being polite in my last post.
He listed the sizes incorrectly. The link I posted has the correct information.
Offsets are very high. They may just barely fit without spacers, but it will look awful because the wheels will be terribly sunken. You will need spacers. 15mm front and 25mm rear for it to look decent. With spacers that big you'll need to replace the lugstuds too.

Old topic....but the S2K rims fitted in my FC3C with 2mm rear spacers. They look a little bit sunken but i like them....

i would like to see a pic if someone has then on

socalrotor 02-27-07 11:30 AM

06-07, and I think 05 s2k's have 17x7 in the front and 17x8.5 in the rear. 215/45's in the front and 245/40's in the rear. I and still debating 4 rears on my fc. If I get some time today I will post a pick or 2.

Here is a foto of my FC with S2000 rims.
The wheels come from '01 model and they are 16".

Cool. I wouldn't have bothered with the ridiculously high offset, but it looks nice. Did you get them for free from your cousin? That just makes everything sweeter =)

erevos 03-05-07 05:53 AM

Free of course...:):):)
