RESpeed Big Brake ???

So I was looking at the big brake kit for FB on Billy's site, and there is no description other than out of stock, for the complete big brake kit. I know it is there, and has been discussed on here, but now the search is saying it is disabled. :( I have a 83 GSL, with SE susp. in the works.
Anyway, can someone give me a recap of what the kit converts to? Is it TII brakes and hubs, or any FC hub and brake kit. I have a 1986 base to steal parts from, but if it is for TII for their larger brakes, then I will save up for that. Also, I am assuming that the rear would be the same thing.
On another note, in doing this, is it being a little anal to try and get the TII brake prop. valve to keep the balance there?

Yes it converts for the T2 5x114.3 bolt pattern

you can convert to any fc hub,

Top quality, fast shipping.... billy and his team are really solid people.

The kit consists of 2 bearing spacers, 2 caliper brackets, and all the hardware... Detailed instructions aswell.

Well worth it!

So I guess I am asking this. I assume that the TII brakes would be larger, in the rotors being larger diameter, and calipers are the 4-piston in the front. Are the caliper brackets made for the TII calipers or will the base fit as well. I ask this as I could use the base stuff from my 86 until I get the TII parts or wait to get the TII rotors and calipers. Or are the brackets made for the TII that would cause spacing issues using the base stuff.
As far as Billy's stuff, I have heard nothing but good, and would like to support a company that does so much for such a relatively small group!!! :)

Billy's kit is designed for the larger T2/GXL 4-piston front brakes. The Base model FC 4 lug brakes are nearly identical to GSL-SE brakes.

this is a great mod, but it isnt cheap. ive done this swap on my SA.

to do it right, youll need to buy billys front kit, rear kit, and rear axles. billy has a total kit for $350. i highly suggest buying that. it saves you money on brake lines and such. then buy the moser axles, or try to redrill yours. i couldnt get any machine shop to touch my axles though.

getting the T2 stuff isnt really expensive. i got my calipers used for like $40(front) with hubs and all mounting hardware, i paid about the same for the rear, the rotors totalled a little over $200 for all 4(ebay specials), i have hawk hps for the front and generic pads for the rear. you can use the GSLSE proportioning valve. the better option is to use the T2 brake booster, master cylinder, and prop valve. you have to grind a little on the clutch master, iirc. i can do this mod due to differences between SA and FB. if you have an FB i suggest doing it. also, i have all the T2 booster, MC, and all and ill send to you for free if you want it. i cant use it.

Where can you get Moser axles? Are they stronger? Do they fit perfectly on the GSL rear end?

^^respeed. yes, theyll swap directly into any 84-85 disc rearend. yes theyre stronger.

SOOOOOOO, another interim fix. Could I use the FC fronts calipers on 84-85 struts
to bring it up to GSLSE spec before getting the full TII kit? I would use the GSLSE rotors, but use the FC calipers, brackets, etc. until I get the kit from billy to mount the TII stuff?

Lets say I were to do a Turbo swap on my fb, and the 4 piston calipers I've got sitting around on the front.

Should I try to upgrade the stock rear end to handle the extra power and fit the fc brakes to that?

Or should I just go ahead and spend some extra time to build up a ford 8.8 or similar, with whatever ford axles came in the same bolt pattern as the front and try to use some stock ford brakes to go in the rear?

The new kit is for front and rear brakes.
