question for the wheel pros
i wanna use bmw 18" bbs rims on my fc,what kind of Frankenstein shit do i have to get done to fit a 5x120 bolt pattern to my fc
|
I don't know what the FC bolt pattern is, I'll guess it is 5x114.3? If it is, you are pretty much out of luck. You'd have to have the BBS wheels drilled out, but then there would be too much slack in the holes. You'd need some hub rings and a wicked set of good lugs. IMO, not very safe at all.
perhaps I am wrong though LOL |
can i put bmw rotors on my fc?
or can i get a custom drilled rotors to fit 5x120??? |
I think your best bet would be to get some custom made spacers that switch the bolt pattern

and its going to be $$$ safety is questionable might as well sell those wheels and buy some wheels that fit instead.

CAN't DO IT.
There's no point. You'll need a 25mm spacer at least and they still might not change the PCD. Once you have added that spacer they will probably not fit. if this is off an E36 m3 then the offsets are probably ideal as they sit right now. the rotors won't help the boltpattern of the hub. You would need a custom hub and that's a waste of money if buying used wheels. Might as well buy new ones which fit right. What are the wheel specs, width and offset for front and rear? Rishie |

but they look so " BEAUTIFULL"!!!!!!

there are plenty of mesh wheels in 5x114.3
how about some convertible FC3S BBS wheels? you can pick them up for cheap now and then. |
i want 18"
I saw some bbs wheels for my rx7; only problem is that I would have to sell the car to be able to afford the rims. |
A modified hub is your only option unless you want to go real sketchy style and weld the wheels shut and redrill them. I don't know of anyone who does this, and I would never attempt this, but it theoretically could work. I would just move on. Ther spacers won't work for the reasons that Rishie stated. To do it right you'll need custom hubs and rotors.
