Ok I have verts on my rex they are 15x6.5 with a offset of 40 I want 16x7 whats should the offset be to make the 16s fit as the vert rims? I have my car low n I dont want to have the tires rubbing the fenders n shit. Thanks

To keep the outer edge of the wheel at the same location, you'll need an offset between 45-48

Thanks man ;)

Nooooooooo, that'll make it perilously close to the suspension, limiting you to a 205 tire, if that, and if the wheels would even fit. The stock TII wheels fit fine, and are a 16x7 40mm offset. That's about the MAXIMUM offset you can get away with (in front at least). A 30mm gives more room for wider tires, such as 225's. I've got 17x8's, 30mm offset with 225/45/17's and have never rubbed a fender or suspension on either stock suspension or with coilovers.
It also makes the car look better IMHO to have the wheels that little bit further out, fills the wheel wells out more. |

7.0" wide, shoot for a +35 offset.
This should allow you to run a 225 wide tire on that 7.0" wheel with best clearances. I've run this combination with no problems. Side note, stock is 16" x 7.0", +40 and a 205 / 55 / 16 size tire. -Ted |
