question about stock brake pads
 

so yea being bored at work, (i work at autozone) and looking through our selection for FDs and just checked the brakes,

now i know that most people dont think there are lifetime warrentees and if you lose the reciept then your screwed, but autozone covers nearly everything, plus it goes by phone number, and i have personally warrenteed every brake ive seen come in.

Has anyone tried them, or are they junk. The pads are made by morse, but there are no ceramics for our cars , and autozone is liquidating their supply of the pfc carbon metallics, which would be nice if the were stocked...
but yea has anyone tried them? i just kinda want to know if our stuff is any good or not

junk IMO they will work fine for the street but as soon as you put heat in them good luck stopping.

are we talking about them lasting a matter of days weeks or months, i was just curious about them.

my friend at napa who gets me better discounts anyways was going on about the pads that they have are decent

They are most likely just find for street driving. However, I wouldn't recommend any, as people call it, 'canyon runs' or spiriting driving where constant braking would be used. They probably wouldn't stand up to the heat too well which is basically what happens with 90% of all car OEM brake pads. ;)

As with parts on any car, pick the appropiate part for the appropiate use. ;)

Honeslty use a CERAMIC brake pad it works great on the orad and at the track and does not require any "heat up" time like kevlar or other racing pads..

semi mets and horrible, organics are better but still junk
