Prodrive PFF-7s.... Anyone???
 

Just curious to know if anyone is running the Prodrive PFF-7s on their Gen 3. I'm considering these but would like to see a pic or two of them installed on another ride before I make my final choice. Any pics you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Do they have them in the right offset? My friend tried to get prodrive wheels for his 7, but coudln't because the offsets were wrong and prodrive doesn't make custom offset wheels.

I looked into the GC07, which I believe is the forged version of the PFF-7, or maybe that's just the nomenclature.

I looked at the Japanese Prodrive site, and Science of Speed (for NSX's). Make sure your getting the forged model, whatever the correct name is.

It looked like they had offsets that were just fine... 18x9.5 +45, and a decent 8.5" offset too.

I would have bought them if they came in 18x10 for the rears, but I decided not to because they were only 9.5"s... the offsets were right around 45 though, so they would definitely fit! and they look badass:cool:

Where were you thinking of purchasing? The place that I was looking at(discounttire.com) only has them in a 35 offset for Subaru, so I don't think these would work. Any connection you could give me with a U.S. Supplier would be greatly appreciated! Would Science of Speed have the right offset?

yahoo japan used to have those come up alot with some pics on a FD. They do look badass!

at the top of left bar where it says WHEEL, under GC-010G (or any other wheel) click on "Matching List" to find what sizes they reccomend for the RX7. After you have that info, you're set :)

Careful though... i've always noticed that Japanes sites recommend awfully low offsets for our cars... in the mid 30's sometimes... and i'm not sure you'd be real happy with that.

So, a 33 Front and 36 Rear offset would mean the rims would stick out more than say a mid 40s offset, correct? The Japanese Altezza has a 44 offset for both Front and Rear. Wonder how that would fit??

YES, and those look like typical J-Spec recommendations for 8.5, and 9.5" wheels for the FD. They must not turn the steering wheel much in Tokyo.

44 all around would be better. There is the issue of brake clearance, but many JSpec companies list the clearance based on the JSpec brakes, which apparently stick out way further than the 93-95's.

Even My StopTechs fit under a wheel that both the Japanese and American BBS specs said wouldn't fit my car.
