Roll front and rear. On the front, the wheel liner needed to be tucked above the two upper mounts as the holes no longer lined up for them to be bolted in. Holds quite well like that though - it's a very rigid piece.
Front wheels do stick out a bit past the guards. Rears are well within them.
When I first put them on, the front would very slightly rub against the liner (just behind the oil cooler) at full lock only, but it's obviously pushed it back and is no longer a problem. No rubbing during street driving, track driving or hitting speed bumps.
Going to try to fit 285s AD08Rs on them next (wanted 285s to start with, but unfortunately the Federals don't come in that size). Rear should be easy. Front may be a challenge. The lower profile of 285/30s may actually make help it work.
(In the last two images, the fronts are actually on very old 265/35 RE11s that the wheels came with. The 595RSRR are slightly wider).

Finally managed to get the wheels and tires mounted. Still need to adjust height and camber a bit, but it is already such a change. Looks like a completely different car.
^^LO7, beautiful final outcome. So, on the Air Cups, do they just provide a minimal rise in ride height for driving or getting over speed bumps? Are they add ons to your normal suspension? How do they affect handling, in either a positive or negative way?
They provide 2" (50mm) of lift in ride height. Yes you measure the stalk in the middle of the coilover to make sure they give you the right one, and then you take off the top hat piece, put the cup on, and then put the top hat back on. It raises the over all coilover dimensions by about an inch usually depending on its design, so will need to be winded down a bit further than normal. Check out Stanceparts.com for details/schematics and explanation on all that. it's actually pretty affordable- the most affordable I've found anywhere, and they have a nice warranty + reviews seem to be great).
The quality is very nice from what I can tell, and the tank/compressor are VIAIR which is a great brand. It's a basic up/down mechanism provided in the kit, but could be upgraded with other parts (we added an extra switch for 'off' instead of always having the tank compressor active. They do not affect handling AT ALL. When compressed the coilovers have the exact same charactaristics as normal coilovers, but when they are raised it actually makes the coil/suspension harder than normal.
Some air cup kits say you can drive with them in the up position for normal driving; this kit says you should "drive low, lift when you need it" (over bumps, etc.) but I think that's more for warranty releated concerns. I'm considering lowering it all the way for looks, and then going ahead and driving with them aired up, which imo shouldn't be a big deal. (Considering the cost of rebuild/replacement, not bad) Might shorten the life of them a bit, but mine is more a show car now anyways and won't be driven too much- trying to keep the mileage way down staying within the 39k og miles mark for 10 more years.. lol)

In theory, the air up setup depends on the diameter of the coil over shaft. It acts as a spacer between the top hat and spring. Should you get the diameter of the Ohlins shaft, you should be good.
correct, but ohlin has an interesting metal spacer that is under the top hat. its hard to explain but instead of adding only 20mm from the air cup, the spring will be 50 mm from the top hat.

Each coilover will be different, on the Blitz I have, the coil in stock form is all the way touching the top hat, but adding the cup on raised it by about 1.5" as seen here:
Check the stanceparts.com site to see more info on universal fitment, good info there on what measurements you'd need to provide them as far as the inner stalk mm. I only put cups on the front because the backs can't lower as far if the cups are installed, and probably wouldn't end up going down far enough since I'm wanting to tuck most of the tire eventually
Quick update on mine, lowered the front and it's fine, still no scrubbing at all. Could even put a 3mm spacer on the front. Changed to a TCP magic bumper and installed Air Cups, best thing I ever did to my car for quality of life.

nicely done! M1s are on my short list of wheel candidates. What are your camber settings?
Had to give my rears a solid roll & slight pull but the 18x10 +20 265/35/18 square setup fit nicely with the Feed fronts, get a slight rub near full lock, I think I can dial it out with less caster but haven't decided if I want to do that yet.
Are those RG-Rs? Did you have them refinished/painted? Is that a full black, or a dark metallic? looks great.
These are RG-R's and they were refinished in Japan to a "Diamond Black" metallic. I love how it turned out, thanks! I could not find the perfect size for the life of me here in the states so i had to import these from Japan.
