Can't edit my previous post so I wil update that like narfle and the forum guide said, 18x9.5 offset +38 wrapped in 255-35-18 WILL rub in the front, looks like after some miles my suspesion settle and now in really big bumps it will rub just a little but definitely will rub and the height from ground to the top of my wheel arch is 25.6" front.

Hi guys need some help, I want to buy some work vsxx rims and need some help with the
right sizes and offset. My front rims are 18x8 jj ET 3/8 with 235 / 40 what does the 3/8 mean in mm ? i can go 1 1/2 inches more between the front coil and inside edge of front rim and 1 1/4 inches from outside of rim to the outside of my + 20 mm front guards.
my rear rims are 18x9 jj ET 3/8 with 265 / 35 and can go 1 1/4 more inches from inside edge of rim to the rear trailing arm and 1 more inch from outer edge of rim to the outside edge of my rolled and pulled gear guards + 20 mm.
I have added some pics of my rims and some pics of other cars with work vsxx rims
I would like to fit 265 up front and 295 or 305 on the rear so any help would and will be much appreciated.
Thanks Ian.

You are rubbing with that much front wheel gap?!? Your setup must be super super soft. I barely rub with my fenders rolled up front not even pulled. That blue is sexy though well done.

Ambit re02 (enkei rs05rr reps) 18x9.5 +15 squared
front 255/35/18 federal 595
rear 265/35/18 federal 595
had to roll fenders.. will have to raise my height since it still rubs in rear. There is some decent amount of negative camber. Couple of the pics were when I had feed fenders and bumper. I am stock 99 oem now.

44 front, 44 rear. At 25.5 ride height, it's right on the edge of functional for me. But I'm too old for hellaflush.

It's on like Donkey Kong!

That's a Mazdaspeed 15th Anniversary front bumper. It's pretty tall, so with the Ohlins, I just make it up the driveway...

I think that's the same bumper that one of the guys in the Springs has, but his dad modified it to fit the 99 spec lights. I could be wrong though. At least it works in your driveway lol.

Can anyone confirm, I know theres a bucket load of information here but I cant get non conflicting info and dont really want to have to send wheels back.

Going towards some Work Emotion D9R's in 18x9.5 ET30 all round on 235/40 with coilovers, dont mind rolling the fenders but no pull. Will they clear?

That sounds like it will clear no problem at all. Even on the fronts. You might not even have to do a roll.

It also depends on the alignment. I think with a roll and some camber (-2 F, -1.5 R, so nothing crazy) you can get up to 255/35 if you want to.

My buddy has 18x11.5 front and rear on his stock fenders with just a roll, but most of the wheel is inside the wheel well. 285/30 all around as well. I have this same setup but my stock fenders are flared, so it's a moot point in this case.

18x11.5 +42mm with 285/30/18 RE-11 tires.

front camber is -1.7ish and rear is -1.3ish. its been a while since my last alignment and that was a few coilovers and spring rates ago.

car handles exceptionally well IMO.

My current setup:

Model- Advan GT
Color- Machining and Hyper Racing Black
Size- 18x10 front and rear
Offsets- +35 in the front and +22 in the rear
Vehicle ride height- Approximately 25 3/4 inches (about a two to three finger gap between the fender and tire)
Suspension- GReddy Type S Coilovers
Tires- Yokohama A048 265/35R18 all around

It rubs on bumps. Fenders are not rolled, but I'm getting it done soon. I also plan on lowering it and getting an alignment.

^^ Grand mighty's old rims? You need some camber for the rear, it's sticking out too much. Love the rims man. LOVE!
