OZ Pegasus Stock Body Fitment?
Just curious if you could avoid rolling and keep stock-ish camber with 17x10 +45 w/ 255/40 square
Seemed like a cool old-school/budget fitment. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...dj_600x450.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...43b8d64df.jpeg |
Nice choice of wheels.
For reference I run a 18x9.5 +45 with 285/30/18 tires and will ever so slightly rub with a lot of steering input and suspension travel. Your wheels would be 0.5" wider however with a narrower tire so it's going to be close, very close call without any fender mods. What's your ride height? |
I'm a sucker for classic 5 spokes. My car is all stock for now, but presume it were functionally lowered on coilovers.

I have 17 x 10 +38 and I needed to roll the front a good amount. It looks great though |
Hey that’s my old car!!! The montego blue one. I was running 17x8 +25 15mm spacer and 17.10.5 +45 20mm spacer in the back had perfect fitment. Actually still have the wheels and will be going on my next car. |
Fairly optimal offset; still, based on my experience with completely stock front fenders you will have to run at least -1.5 degrees camber to fit a 255 on +45 offset and avoid the tire catching the unrolled lip when going up drives at an angle.
-1.5 front camber isn't bad at all for the street, just don't take the chance of running stock 0 camber and catching the fender lip. It will do much more visible damage than if you had just carefully rolled the lip in the first place (which I would recommend for the fronts). |
