The Official FC Wheel Fitment Thread
Hey guys,
I'm looking at 2 different wheels right now...
18x8.5 F 18x9.5 R +35mm offset for both. I think the rear will fit, but how about the front? Will the fenders need to be rolled? Or will it be pretty flush?
17x8 F 17x9 R +35mm offset for both also. I'm wondering how these will look mostly, like how flush it's going to be... Cuz they will fit, right?
EDIT: Also what tire sizes would work best?
Thanks a lot!

I have 16x7 Front and 16x8 Rear SSR Reverse Mesh wheels. All wheels have +40 offset.
They will be on 225/50/16 F and 245/45/16 R tires.
I was wondering what size spacers I would need to make the wheels flush with the fenderline of the car. I'm thinking 5mm?

I've read ReTeds chart (http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm)
I might purchase a set of Rims, 17x9.5 +16 and 17x10 +10, along with Wider Front fenders, and Rear overfenders. According to ReTeds chart, these might fit.
I am running Tien S-Tech Springs, everything else in the suspension is stock.
What I'd like to know is:
1) How flush will these rims fit, assuming that the front fenders are 20 mm wider and the rear fenders are 30 mm wider?
2) Will I need to get Coilovers?
3) Will I need spacers?
4) Assuming that these sizes will work, what size tire do you guys suggest running?

I've read through 20 out of the 52 pages (on my browser) and still haven't really got a 100% yes or no, (if that's even possible). From everything I've read, I'm leaning towards the yes side...
I really want to find out if the 18" are gonna fit, or at least some input, cuz my chance to get them is getting smaller and smaller...
I know raising arizona runs 17"x8.5 +40 F and 17"x9.5 +40 R with tien flex coils and no fender mods. Also, I forgot to mention, I have K-Sport GT-Pro coilovers, which from what I can see seem to have a similar set up to the Tiens...
Thanks again
I'm going to roll my fenders, but what offset do I need for 17x9, 17x10 on my car?
REteds site is down...do I need to pull my fenders too? My friend is running 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 and a little camber and it fits perfect. Not sure on his offset. oh and hes running 245s front and 285s rear. I want to run 245s front and 265+ rear...so what offset do I need? (btw the exhaust shields are already hammered in and I'm getting my fenders rolled...but wondering if I need them pulled too?

Okay all, I've read 20 pages of thread, and believe i'm OK.. I'm going old school and have some 14" 2-pc dynalites 6" width with 38mm offset... Yes, they're fourteens.. FOUR-TEEN !!(the horror, the shame, they're SO not fashionable, what will my parents think??) - but they're mesh with the chrome rims and all the allen heads.. and I like the fat tire -- 80's SCCA look... sing it.. "WE are the 80's"
So I was thinking that the 215x60x14 would work well. No? I found some Nexen N2000 that are made in that size.. they're so few 14inch tires for us cheap bastards to choose from... 215x60x14 should be a fist full of clearance vs. shock tower - - whatch y'all think?

14"s are a waste of time
Okay, RetEd, in your opinion they're a waste of time... but y'know I've got what I think are nice wheels. I don't poo-poo 17" rims and saythey turn an exceptionally well designed car into a cartoon... I just wanted to be confident that the 215/60/14 set up 4 lug would fit nicely. Thats all. ... not all of us are prepared to drop a grand in wheels and tires.. there are a few of us cheap bastards out there that are running fourteens and we would apprec. any constructive comments. nnnnn Thanks.
i just purchased some ssr d5r's for a super good deal
will a 18x9
and a 18x9.5 fit, with a 40 offset..
lookint a 225/35/18 up front
and 275/35/18 in the rear
tires are bfgoodrich g force ta kdw's(dont know if it makes a difference)
I have megan coil overs

****. 18x9 was the smallest they had and i got the rear for a deal, wide body front fenders here i come, anyone, so they'll stick out to far?they wont be flush then.will i need a spacer or will the bolt right up(apart from the whole them possible being too wide
Trying to see if these rims/tires would fit before I decide wether or not to buy them.
Front: 17x8, 45 offset, 225 wide tire
Rear: 17x9, 38 offset, 275/40 drag radial
My fenders are rolled front and rear, but not pulled. Would the fronts fit with spacers and stock suspension?

Wide fenders, so what wheels?
I am about to be getting shines foresight 30mm wider fenders in front and probably over fenders in back. Not sure about the back untill I put the front on. I am wanting to run 17x9 wheels and am curious what offset I will need to be flush.
don't know about rears.
I am shooting for 245's on the front. I can't imagine running a 215 on a 17x9.
wut tire size would you guys reconmend for a 16x7 for the front and 16x8 for the back? offset is 24
i was thinking a 215 up front with 245 out back but im unsure of the profile to get?
