thats what I was planning on^^ heat and pull with gloves

I think it would look weird to have the flared look in the front of the car. The rear looks fine but it just wouldnt look right.

BTW any input on a wider tire in the rear or is 225 pushing it?

before you go bashing on me trying to out-grip an f1 car id like to say that i just came across them. ive been looking for them for a while and its a good deal. just wanted to know if they could fit. guess not.
thank you to those who were imformative.

Not bashing you anymore than someone putting stretched tyres on. Just implying that you are going for maximum grip on the car, nothing else. That being said, like we've told you, do a 25mm front and 30mm rear wide fenders and you'll be cool!

Yes, you can go 245 / 45 / 16 in the rears.

Thanks Ted. I didnt think 245's would fit under the rear fender at that offest. Needless to say I will make it work and a 245 will help with traction puting down 367whp.

So I will end up running:
16x8 +15
225/50/16 Front with a O.D. 24.85"
245/45/16 Rear with a O.D. 24.72"

and the slight slight stretch of the 225 will reduce any visible sidewall difference between the front and rear tires!!

I plan to run 17 x 7 in the front +40 and 17 x 9 in the rear +35

tires will prolly be
front 225/45/17 OR 225/50/17 or 225/55/17
rear 245/45/17

I dont think I will have to much problems. the difference in the front tires is because I am not sure if I want the overall tire diameter in the front to be smaller then in the rear..

does anyone think I will have any fitment issues on my s4 n/a base 4 lug with this setup?

why? 225/45 is about the same size as stock... if not 'slightly' bigger. I definetly would not go with bigger than 45 series, or it will look really wierd.

that was the idea. I want to try and keep the speedo on and not make it look to weird..

I was gonna go 225/45/17 front and 245/45/17 in the rear

u think I can go bigger on the tire in the back on the 9" rim without rubbing

yeah, you probably could go bigger in back. but then you'd have a pretty extreme stagger, which would make the car handle pretty wierd. 245/45 is a little bigger than stock, so it will throw the speedo off just a little. fronts won't matter at all for speedo accuracy.

why do you think you need that big of tires? if spend money on a nice tire, instead of just a huge 'decent' one, I think you'll find the results more satisfying.

The correct sizes would be 225/45/17 and 245/40/17.

I know from recent experience that a 255/40-17 on a 17X9 +35 fits just fine in the back with no fender rolling whatsoever. Getting the same wheel/tire combo on the front takes a 20mm spacer and quite a bit of fender rolling/pulling. (Or widebody fenders if you're not a cheap bastard)
I'm in favor of this type of setup because you can have super grip with a reasonable (Read durable) tire compound. Big tires FTW!!

ok, after much research, I havent been able to (for sure) figgure out the fitament for my wheels... Ive got a Stock GXL and im wanting to Upgrade to a set of Mille Miglia MMIIs...

they are 16x7, 5x114 and iirc +35 Offset... How would i correctly go about figuring that and fitting them on my FC?

The stock GXL rims are 15x6 with an aproxamate offset of +40...

I also have a Set of TII rims that are on another FC that I was thinking about using, they are 16x7 and +40 which would bolt on right?

little help?(I know I probably shouldnt have posted my question here, but i wanted others to see it aswell...)

16x7 with a 35mm offset will fit fine.

Out of curiosity, can you safely use a 10mm hub spacer with just long studs?

I figure +45's 17X8/9's will work with 10mm spacers?...

for those people who are running 215/50/17 all around...did you run into any major problems with the fender?...because my car is lowered by almost 1" and im wondering if 215/50s would be a problem

Any clue on whether or not I'd be able to throw on some 275s on my 17x9 + 35 for the rear?

I don't know for sure that you could run just any 275 on tha back (You'll want to check the section width), but I know you would be able to run the Falken Azenis RT-615. The 255/40-17s I'm running have a 10.3" section width, measured on a 9.0" wheel. The 275/40-17 has a 10.8" section width on a 9.5" wheel, or a 10.6" section width on a 9.0" wheel. Since that is only 0.3" wider overall and I have at least 1/4" before I need to roll my rear fenders or bend the muffler heatshields it seems like no problem.

You'll be better off with a 215/45/17, not a 215/50/17, as it's closer to the stock diameter.

Yes you can use a 10mm spacer with long studs. You can use 1"+ spacers with long studs.

30mm, use a 245/40/17, it's the correct diameter, the 45 is too tall.
