They should fit ok with 205/50/17's but you'd be better off getting a higher offset and wider wheels so that you can safely run wider tires, like 225/45/17's that fit nicely on 7.5" or 8" wide wheels with offsets of about 30-35mm.

yeah. Well I found a set of the exact same wheels but they are as follows:

17x8 +47 F
17x9 +47 R

There are also a couple of other sets. Sorry for all the wheel questions but I'm tryin to find what fits and what doesn't. The FC3SPro Guide is a little bit of help.

First are a set of works that measure in at:

17x8 +28 F
17x9 +42 R

Next is a set of volks that are:

17x8 +36 F
17x9 +33 R

Will fit in back.
I would hit the fender lip up front.

It will easily clear everything inside.

17x8 +28 F
17x9 +42 R
Fronts are just about perfect, but depending on tire size, it will come close to the fender lip up front.
Rears are too tight inside.

17x8 +36 F
17x9 +33 R
Fronts hit inside.
Rears will fit.

These are all assuming 225 or 235 tire up front and 255's in back.

If we're talking 245, 255 or wider tires, it will not fit up front under stock fenders.

I'm shopping around for track wheels and bought a pair of 17x8 42mm offset. Can I put 235 up front and make them fit? I already have some tiny spacers since my current setup fit my car fine until I bought coilovers.

No.
You're looking at 10mm to 12mm spacers just about...

If I run 17 x 7.5 with 225/45/17 with lowering the car 1 - 1.5 inches on all four corners and I want to use a single offset for all wheels, which out of +30, +35 and +40 should I use?

If that doesn't work, my other option is to run 17 x 7, with those three offsets, if that's the case, which offset should I use with the 17 x 7 and 225/45/17 tire?

Well I bought em so looks like if they don't fit I'll try some spacers and then go from there.

You are looking at a 10mm spacer at a minimum depending what tire size and brand you shoe it with to clear the trailing arm.

+35 is tight.
+30 would definitely fit, but it might get mighty close to the fender lip up front.
You might need to roll the fender up front for better clearance.

7.0", +35 would clear everything.

Some people have claimed a 10.0", +35 will fit in the back, but I've never tried it.
The biggest offset I would run with a 10.5" is +15, and I've seen it with my own eyes.
If this is the case, then extrapolating back to a 10.0" rim, the offset cannot go more than +20...hell, go +25 and live dangerously.
That's at least a 20mm spacer back there.

The problem with the rears is that the rear studs are really short.
Either you need those offset spacers with another set of studs, or you need to replace your existing wheel studs with longer ones.

The problem with running the 10.0" with the big offset is that it hits stuff inside the wheel well.

so longer wheel studs? I think I'll try that first and if I still hit I'll order some spacers.

20mm to 25mm (about 3/4" to 1") spacer in the rears should allow them to clear easily back there.
To make things simple, get some "offset" spacers.
Check out eBay for sellers.

50mm (~2") is WAY too much! :P

Hello all!

I am looking out to fit these wheels in my 90 Turbo II...Actually I lost the sale being late sadly , anyone have some tip where to find or know someone selling?

The seller in his thread on this board said these are 16"x8jj '99 FD stock wheels.
I MUST fit stock 205/55R16 wheels due to italian laws. Any idea on how they will fit bearing in mind that for now it's stock suspension, but will upgrade to something like Megan Coilovers soon (and also dropping the car about 30-35 mm) ?

Like U.S.-spec FD3S wheels, you still need a 20mm to 25mm spacer up front to make them fit up there.
The rears are fine with no spacer, but it would look nicer if all 4 of them use the same size spacer.

Thanks for reply RETed...

20mm to 25mm spacer up front
Uhm.... that is a point against it, 25 mm spacers only on front? Wouldnt that affect driveability of car? I plan to do some trackday use (4/5 times per year) of my car that is also my daily... isn't that spacer a quite big supplementary stress on supension/hubs and so on? I am afraid of using spacers...damn it I really love those wheels look...

Any suggestion for a rim that have similar look, weight and is OK to fit without problems (I say again, with STOCK tires, 205/55R16 , just to remind you all )

just get the spacers that have the studs made into them. They are durable. I know a few offroad guys that run 1/2" spacers and a few drag racers that run 3/4" spacers. As long as you get a quality pair that have studs in them you should be fine.

What would it take to get the following to fit?

17x9 +15 17x10 +25

Can it be done on stock fenders with rolling and pulling? I know overfenders would be ideal, but I'd rather make it work with the reworked stockers if possible. And with all that, what size tires can I run? I would assume a stretch will needed ( likely putting it mildly ) but I would like to keep the stretch as mild as possible.

Thanks in advance.

The fronts likely won't work without somekind of overfender.Unless you try to stretch a major undersized tire with like 2 deg. of neg. camber and a major fender roll on top of it all.The rears will work with a decent fender pull/roll.
