Not another wheel fitment post...
 

Like the title says and I’m regretting even posting this... So please everyone bear with me :pat:

I have now read roughly 75 pages of information, gone through Facebook posts and even spoken with “FD Guru’s” and I get different answers every single time and I need to figure this out prior to ordering new wheels.

The cars information. 1992 FD3S. Front fenders rolled, rear fenders rolled and currently lowered on H&R 1.25” drop springs.(Coilovers in the future). ARP 3.25” wheel studs (Able to run a fairly large spacer if need be but preferably not).

So to get things started. I’m needing a street set of wheels so I’m not always rolling on my drag combination. So I’m looking to order a set of Enkei RPF1’s (How Original).

Now. I’m wanting nice fitment. No 4x4 shit. No camber, No hella poke, just flush ish fitment. While keeping a bigger drag radial likely out back.

Now for sizing...

From all the information I’ve gathered I assumed that I’d go with

Front 17x9 with +45mm With 245/45/17 Tire
Rear 17x9 with +38mm With 275/40/17 Tire

If not achieving the fitment I’m wanting I thought I could always run a spacer to help achieve that “flusher” stance.

Now here’s what I’m being told by a wheel shop/ specialist

He recommends since I’m rolled fenders to go with

Front 17x9 +35
Rear 17x9 +22

With 255/40 square..

This has now thrown a complete curveball at me and I have no idea at this point what to even consider. I’d think this rear would poke or be very aggressive?

Rear- 15×8 @ 5.25" +25mm
