New wheels on my 2nd gen - for better or for worse?
I got a new set of wheels last week, RS Limited Limix 17". It's a lot different then my last set of wheels, so I'm having a hard time getting used to them. What are your opinions? I really think the Konigs made the car.

The new RS's don't seem to fill up the wheelwells as much in the rear. My vote goes towards the Konig's.

well, they're both ricer brands, but at least the new ones aren't blatant knockoffs.
|
I'd go with something with a lower offset. The wheels are too tucked in.

i like the old wheels more, but those would look better with spacers :P

Yeah, I think spacers would help a lot, but I'm concerned about putting too much stress on the lugs.
At my budget, I'm not concerned with originals or knock offs, as long as they look good! I'm not the stuck up kind of car enthusiast (no offense to anyone here, just someone in town obsessed with brand names comes to mind...). The new ones were $365 shipped coast to coast. |
see i will have spent more than that per wheel :P

So your like that guy in the commercial with just one 20" spinnin rim on his '86 accord tryin to get the ladies. :)

look good and you can't beat the price .. I Bought a new set of 17" Adr rs limited this week + 45 offset , kinda tight against the coil overs but look good , only issue is the front dust covers wont fit ,hit the front spinel greese covers . my old S5 wheels are in great shape but wanted to go to a bigger wheel and tire size .. ordered 5mm (3/16" spasers for the front to get away from the coil overs , as now you can slide a tablet cardboard between the tires and coil over bracket ..
