Need suggestion on the size of wheels

Currently, i have thinking about what size of wheels should i buy for my FD with TEIN lower spring. I m thinking about either 17" or 18" , what do you guys think ??

The tein spring doesnt low so much; recently, i borrow my frd 17" wheels and install it; it doesn't look good on it because it has about 1.5 to 2" gas. And i m thinking should i get 18" and i doubt it will be too big ??

BTW: what lower spring and size of wheels do you use ???

thx

From a purely aesthetical point-of-view, 18" wheels look best, however, the drawback is a heavier wheel and tire.

17s are a compromise between 18s and stock 16" wheels.

With 18s, you'll still have that 1.5" - 2" gap.

H&R Sport springs, 16" stockers, 17" 5-spoke J-spec FD wheels, 18" Enkeis.

sorry for laughing Rynberg, but whenever I read your post it always seems like your talking to empty air. No matter what you do to help all of these people out they always do the total opposite.

I still remember the post from that guy who wanted approval of putting 19"x10 +25 on the rears...no matter that everyone told him it wouldn't fit, he still ended up purchasing them. Then he purchased a fender roller thinking he could roll >1" to help them clear! :rlaugh:

Anyways, I enjoy your posts ...please keep up the effort!!

I'm kind of curious though....what offsets and tire width did you get for your 19's???? ;)

And you still have that 1.5" - 2" gap too, don't you?
