I just picked up these rims for 700.. with Goodyear Eagle 245/45ZR17 tires, there from a 1999 Mustang GT, the rims have 60,000km on them...

was it a good deal?

for 700? Damn, that guy saw you coming. you got ripped man. sorry.

rotary_gx7 05-02-05 10:10 PM

how much are they worth?

Schmitty 05-02-05 10:14 PM

How good is the tread on the tires? If the tires are pretty new you could justify $350 for the tires and $350 for the rims or something like that....

rotary_gx7 05-02-05 10:28 PM

the tires are brand new

If it was for 700 Canadian ($557 USD), you naysayers don't know shit.

Cheapest Goodyear Eagles on Tire Track in a 245/45-17 were ~$180/apiece.

Sounds like ya done good, son! :bigthumb:

The only problem is the tires are 1" too tall....

actually they fit amazing except it rubs on my front mud guard, but easy fix, i was surprise i thaught for sure it would rub the fender or shock, but i misjuged it. they look really nice, considering i'm used to 15" rotary phone dial rims, "no pun intended".

I had those wheels on my FC at one time, they are pretty light for a 17x8 ( ~17lbs if I remember right). But that stock mustng tire size is too big for your car. Im really suprised they arent rubbing alot up front. I was using 255/40r17s out back and 235/40r17s in front. Usually just the wheels sell for ~$250-300 for a set.

Be carefull with them. I would expect you to cut them on the fenders if you get full suspension travel.

thanks for the info guys!
