A Must have for ALL rotary enthusiasts

Just picked these up at my local Mazda dealer. I saw them advertised in the RX-8 accessories brochure and had him order me a set. The brochure picture didn't show the RX-8 logo on them, but I think they will look cool on any Rotary powered vehicle!

here is a link to some pics, and if anyone would like to post them in this thread, I'd appreciate it!

why so violent?

know the part # by chance? and how much were they?

I apologize for any appearance of disdain. It's just that I wish every car had tire flyz (battery powered LED valve stem caps!) -Joke.

Man, you're still going to sell the rex after putting those babies on it?

Herblenny 06-20-03 08:54 AM

interesting... I like them.. but I dont know if I want to put them on my 7...

Part # from Mazda is F151-V3-835

I wish Mazda would have made them without the RX-8 logo, but oh well.

I think they were $40 for the set from the dealer.:(

Seems like someone could make a generic rotor shaped cap and sell it for much cheaper.....

anyone, anyone...Bueller....Bueller

that looks like soemthing people will steal easily... much like the BBS valve stem caps

75 Repu 06-21-03 01:34 AM

I took off the BBS caps for that reason.. They are too easy to take..

The questions to be asked here are:

How much lighter or weight it will save?
What kind of horse power increase should I expect?
How much shorter will my braking distance decrease?
How many seconds off the quarter mile? :D

I think they might add more horsepower, considering that now your car will "technically" have 6 rotors...:stick:
