Megan Racing / Ksport

All,

I have searched this forum but have not found any recent topics on the subject. Does anyone have real AutoX and Track expierence with either of these products?

If you do have expierence with them what did you run before and how do they compare? If you track them, did you see an improvement in lap times? (On the same track)

The KSport Kontrols are sprung ~500/350
The Megan Racing's are sprung ~400/300

Megan has a full race setup released yesterday with ~600/400 but I feel those will be too stiff for AutoX.

If you do not have Actual expierence with either of these products on the track then please do not respond. Hearsay does not help anyone.

If you have expierence with other Coilover setups in the same price range ~$1000.00 USD I would like to hear about those as well.

Thank You

where you get those numbers? The megan racing is 12kg/12kg =690/690

IMO for autocross 690(12) in front is still not enough. while 500(9) in rear is still not enough. That is what I have now on JIC sets.
Looking for about front 800 and rear 550

The Megan Racings are the Street FC Setup. I believe they released their race setup yesterday but it has not made the website.

I have a friend running Koni's with Ground Control and with 500 in the front and feels they are about right. But his RX also weighs 2200lbs.

I just bought Megan coilovers.I had Tanabe lowering springs and tokico adjustable shocks I've found the Megan's to be very well built and out perform the lowering spring/shock combo. There has also been complaints about rebuilding them.I found this on an other site,The MR coilovers are also fully rebuildable, with MR's ultra convenient dampener insert exchange program. For $75/corner, they will send you a brand new dampener insert. You then simply return your cores. No downtime, as opposed to traditional dampener rebuilds that require that your coilovers be removed and sent in for service. Rebuild intervals on the MR's average 45K miles, which is comparable to most fixed perch struts.

People don't like chinese low quality automotive products for a reason.
