Looking for a certian rim, can anyone help me?

HI,

I'am looking for a light weight rim. It doesn't have to be super light just average light. Anything less than 19lbs a rim will do. The size I'am looking for is 17" rims with 17x9 or 9.5 for the front and 17x10-11'' for the rear. I'am looking for a mesh or 5 star style of rim. It has to have a pretty good lip in the rear wheels. Color doesn't matter, most appeal to me. Any recommendations. I'am not having any luck finding home pages for the main wheel corps. I'am looking to spend about 2g's on the rims alone. Post pics if you can if not I'll search them.

Thank you,
Jonas

You could probably do something like the new 2-piece Volk GTPs... consult the ARD subforum...

Jonas,

Volk's home site is www.rayswheels.co.jp

Ptrhahn's right, sounds like the Volk GT-P or GT-C would be good for you, as they have those sizes and offsets (with a lip).

there not five-spoke wheels but the TE-37's from rays have everything else ur looking for I think. and they're really nice looking

For some reason teh GT-P's look kind of boring. TE-37's look pretty damn good and also I caught a glimpse of the GT-N's and they look kinda hot also.

I like the Racing Hart's C-2's a lot and I think the C3's too. I heard they wern't making them anymore, is this true?

Thanks for Ray's homepage but I couldn't navigate it to well since it wasn't in English.

You can't get the TE-37s in the sizes you want in the correct offsets.

BTW, there is a button down on the bottom left of the Ray's home page that says "english version here"....:)

EDIT: Is there any particular reason you're set on those exact sizes? You could always run the typical Volk fitment of 8.5 front, 9.5 rear. Or you could go with the 18x9.5 +50 offset SSR Comps all around like 93 R1 just did.

Whoops, I'll check the English version out!

Well I'am not stuck on those tire sizes. I have 18x8 in front and 18x9 in the rear. I want at least 10" rears and 8.5" up front. I'am the kind of guy that likes a lot of rubber to the ground. It's just that my rims are on the heavy side but damn they look fucking sweet.
