Koni Sport - Additional Height Accessory Option

I just installed some Koni Sport shocks with eibach pro kit springs. The ride is great but it is still too low in the front for my preference even on the highest ring setting. For those unaware, the shock body has three grooves about 1/4" apart to allow for three different height settings.

I would like to increase my height further while still using these higher rate springs without having to use a coilover conversion kit.

Has anyone tried using a spacer on top of the ring as shown below? I don't see any safety concerns if these are sized properly for my shock body and ring outer diameter.

Please also let me know if you have a different solution or if you know of other spacers that may work :)

Can you have some more grooves machined into them? That's what I did with my Bilsteins.

those spacers should be fine as long as they fit the snap ring properly. i have seen that pop out before

Great point, thank you! If they both yield the same result I will probably choose the spacer since it would be a drop in fix vs sending my shocks out. I sure would be nervous doing it at work with our lathe to make sure the size is perfect.

Thanks for the input! Do you have a part number or company I should look at for other options?

I got an positive update email from IG3 for this part here: SPRING SPACER SAAB 9-5 REAR KONI SPORT AND FSD - IG3TECH

My question:
I actually have an rx7 but it has koni sports on it. The outer diameter of my shock bodies is 1.653" on average.
1. Can you please confirm if the inner diameter of your spacers are close to this?
2. I cannot tell by the image, do these have an extruding ring part at the top to replicate the ring for the mating perch?

Their response:
Thanks for the inquiry. Our spacers for Koni are made to fit on top of the supplied Koni spring perch that came with your shocks.
The Koni shocks for Saab are the same diameter as you stated ie. 1.653 or 42mm .
The ID of our spacers is 51mm and fit on top on the Koni spring perches. Using the OEM Koni perch assures a perfect fit with the OD of the shock and the wire that fits in the slot to support the shock
It looks like our product will work on the RX7.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Our spacers come in 25mm 32mm and 38mm heights.
Thanks for your interest.

I am about to order the 25mm (1") now.

Update:

The IG3 kit is NOT what we need. It sits loosely on the shock and must rest on the perch plate, not just the snap ring.

The genuine saab kit below, IS what we need. They are perfect for me as they allowed me to greatly increase the ride height. Great quality and a perfect fit all at a cheap price:
