Kei Office: FC3S

Anyone have any experience with Kei office? I have been trying to decide over the past few days of, Kei Office, Tein HE, or JIC FLT-A2.. But I wanted to post first to see if anyone has used Kei Office coilovers and ther quality level.

I will be doing quite a bit of track time, but will also be driving the streets, harshnessis that big of a deal, but nothing teeth shattering..

I have also though of Zeals V6, but I think 10/8 isgoingto be alittle to stiff..

Any help would be appreciated, even ifyou have other suggestions, or experience that youhave with any coilover. Thanks!

I have the Zeal V6 on my FC3S. PM me and I can give you details on the ride quality and stuff. The spring rates aren't the only factor in dictating the ride quality. I've had both JIC's and now Zeal. I can help you out if you want.

Oh and my friend has some 50 mile used JIC FLT-A2's also he's selling for a good price.

Pm me.

Peace.

i currently have the kei office on my FD3S and i love the way they handle but i also daily drive this and its on setting number 2 but its still quite bumpy here in houston. to tell you the truth im trying to get something softer for daily driving ............but overall im satisfied with them.

I had the JIC FLT-A2's and I'm now using the Zeal V6's. I wouldn't recommend the 10kg/8kg spring rates on the Zeal's for the streets. Awesome on the track, though. The JIC's are much more suited for track/street use.

Also, I don't know how much support, if any, you'd have with the Kei Office's. I hear the ride quality is good, but longevity is an issue.

Why wouldn't you recommend them for the street? Is the 10/8 To harsh of a ride? Or to hard on the coilovers?

I know you can get all the Zeals in either 10/8 or 8/6..

Where have you heard of the longevity being an issue? The Kei office are 9/7 so they are not as harsh or soft as the 10/8 or 8/6..

Yeah, the 10/8kg spring rates are too stiff for street use, IMO. It's a bit unsettling hitting a bump in the middle of a turn. It doesn't help that I have no power steering though. And I hit my head on the roof on the big bumps.

I thought I remembered reading about longevity issues with Kei Office on another board, but I couldn't find where. It might have been Tein HE's. That's what sucks about second and third hand information.

Thanks! So the 10/8 on the streets isn't and issue of hurting the coilovers? Just your head? hehe ;)
