just a quick confirmation befoer i order my wheels

i am going 18x9 all the way around with 255/35s and a 43mm offset. from everything i've read this should work no problem. am i right?

thanks.

it should, but it may depend on the "face" on you front wheels as well. Also, +45mm or higher is best in the front, so they might be a tad close

thanks for the help

It will be close. I run 17x9 43mm with 255/40s lowered almost an inch without issue. My springs are stiff up front at 550lbs though.

so should i go 45mm all the way around?

You only need to ask once! hehe

If you can go 45...do it.

AntiVenom7 04-02-04 03:53 PM

yea talk about the forum flipping out on me. thanks, i will try and see if 45mm is an option.

+38 will work up front, however, there *may* be some rubbing. That can be alleviated with running stiffer springs or coilovers and rolling the fenders.

hmmm, i might look into that. i might also go with a smaller tire. i am looking at my backup choice for rims and it looks like they have it in 43mm. i don't like them as much but they are lighter and come in the offsets i need.
