i just got some rims for the rex. i got 18 x 8 in the fornt, and 18 x 9 in the rear. i tried searching but had no luck.
what size tires should i get to most closely match the orginal size? i'm looking for something pretty wide in the rear. thanks

What wheels did you get??? Any idea of the offset??? I would suggest 235/40 and 265/35. What is your budget?

I have 225/40 on the front and 265/35 yokohama avs sports. They work fine with no rubbing.

thanks for the info....
one more question. what kind of rubber do you suggest? i was thinking about some bridgstone potenza s03's... has anyone heard anything good or bad about these tires? keep in mind i live in florida so i need a good wet performer as well as dry. and i am on a pretty good budget. i figure if your gonna do a little you may as well do it all.
thanks

S03s are supposed to be fabulous, so you won't go wrong there... you could also try Toyo T1S, as they are VERY light.

You should not base tire size without knowing the offset of your wheels. For one person to say he's not rubbing will have no bearing on you unless he has the same width and offset.

Please tell me your offset if you want an accurate answer.
