Question Installed single turbo - car's now crooked

I know the twins weight a lot, but damn! Here's the details...

The car has had koni yellows and eibachs (pro-kit) for about 10k miles and it has always sat dead even with the stock twins and engine. Car sat at my mechanics for about 2.5 months with no engine in it. For the three weeks or so it has had an engine in it, but no turbo. I noticed that the passenger side front was lifted, but didn't worry too much about it. Well, now it has the turbo in it (larger single) and it's still very uneven. I'd say it's about 2.5 -3 inches higher on the passenger side than the drivers side. The engine has no fluids in it yet, but I would think this would cause both sides to be high, not just the passenger. The turbo kit is about 25lbs lighter than stock, but I can't imagine that causing such a noticeable rise (especially when the drivers side and both rear sides are normal).

1) Has anybody had similar experiences?

2) Do you think it will re-settle after I drive it a little?

3) Is it completely stupid to even consider setting the passenger side Koni to the lowest height setting while keeping the others the same (I would think that the extra compression on the passenger spring would cause uneven cornering and steering)?

Thanks,
Matt

I dont have an FD or a turbo but i think your problem isnt related to the swap or weight issues at all. I have kyb's and the eiback pro kit in my fc. ALL the a/c power steering, pollutions ect ect is gone which im sure upsets the weight balance by close to 100 lbs, more so on the drivers side considering the a/c equipment and the power steering is there and my car still sits even on passsenger and driver. I may be totally wrong but im just giving my opinion.

The car has been sitting without weight in it and the front just hasn't settled yet. Bounce the car and roll it around and it will be fine again.

Don't mess with anything. Unless somebody changed the ride height settings on the perches while it sat the car will be "normal" again.

check the spring to make sure that it set properly. Mine did that in my FC after working on my brakes.
