If you have 18 inch rims do you need a suspension upgrade too? If you running 18x9 in front an 18x10 in the rear with a 35 tire an a 30 tire in the rear. Can you just get springs? What would you all recomend. I know a lot of people have 18's on this forum so what did you have to do to your FD so it would ride properly. An what tire sizes are you running?
Thanks
Mike
Thanks
Mike

Re: suspension problem-wheels setup is good
2-inches is a bit low, no? You're probably scraping bottom1?

I see that SE37A wheels are available in 18x9.5 +45mm. That might make a great setup with 2.5" coil-overs, though I haven't run the numbers yet to be sure. I haven't checked the tire/spring clearance on my 18x10"s yet, but 18x9.5" Volks with 285/30-18s would kick *** if it fits.
The other option that keeps me up at night is 17x10" CCW wheels with 285/35-17 tires. Now if only someone would make that tire size...

Hoosier 285/35-17
Max, FWIW, I spoke with the Hoosier management staff about this possiblity. At this point there are NO plans to make our size. But if we set up a spec racing series that specifies that size, 285/35-17, for all the FD Rx7s to run, then they'd be happy to mint that size!
