Can anyone review this combo on an FC? Tokico Blues & Eibach Springs.

I've been searching for a few days when I have time with my not so fast connection and didn't find much. If you've got a super fast internet connection and you've seen this before then please post a link and I'll read it.

Here's my question, I recently found a '87 in the salvage yard with a fresh set of Tokico Blues and Eibach springs and got them for a song. My '86 base is my 17 year old kid's HS car but I drive it ocasionally (when his grades fall). Both my younger kids, B&G, ride to and from school and their friends etc. so it has to be functional and safe. I installed a rear seat so it's possible that a 3rd passenger will be in it on rare ocassion. It's just a nice clean good running street car and other than a light wieght flywheel it's stock. Mechanically the car is very good. The car handles great and rides acceptable, actually pretty good for a sports car. If we go ahead and install the Tokico/Eibach combo without any other changes what would be the result?

How much would the springs lower the car? We don't off road it but how about speed bumps and angled drives?

How well will these shocks control these springs? I don't have any experience in RX7 road racing but I know performance suspenson so I have to ask those who do or may have experience with this combination.

Ride: good, bad, about the same?

Handling: improvement, worse, about the same?

Any wierd undesirable results that can be fixed with other parts? I.E. I don't know why it's desireable to lock out the rear steering characteristics in some applications so I don't know if that applies.

Thanks for any help even if it's just on the shocks or springs alone.

about 2 months ago i installed the tokico blue shocks and suspension techniques springs on my 88 fc turboII. the shocks ride like the stock stocks, most i read about them said they should be alittle stiffer then the oem but i do not feel it, i would like them to be stiffer but thats just me. very happy with the shocks.
i am not sure how the suspension techniques springs compare to the eibach (as far as the fc goes) they lowered mine 1/2 inch all around, thats just by eye i will have to take a measurement to be sure. but the springs i have do ride nice, agein they feel the same as stock to me. they are suppose to be 25% stiffer than oem but i do not feel it. i would like them to be stiffer, but thats just me
now i do have the eibach pro kit on my 88 Z24 cavilear and i do like the springs, they have a nice ride, and lowered my z24 2 inches. (if i remember right they were rated to lower the car 1.5 inches, i have had them for about 10 years now but i think that was it) my only complaint is they are to soft in the front. i do autocross my car so that is very important. hard to say about the ride i have koni adjustable's set to almost full stiff.

i would say the tokico blue and eibach will be a nice set up for the daly driven fc.

Thanks a bunch. Sounds like it was a lucky find. I paid $100 for the sets with strut mounts.
