how do I know if my shocks/struts on my 94 are bad?

I have no idea how to tell. I have 161K miles on them, how do I test? thanks.

Look for oil leaking out of the shocks. If no oil, then they're probably ok. I have 107,000 miles on my FD R1 Showa shocks, with no problems...

Come on David, just get some new shocks. Or even better, coil-overs! It's only money....:p:

You are the reason I spent $12,725 over the last year on mods/repairs!!!!

QUIT giving me ideas!!!

how did your ic installation go?

The shadetree mechanic way is to go to each corner of the car and bounce it hard. If the car immediately settles, shock good. If it bounces once or twice, shock bad.

If you've got the "Buick ride", then it's time to go shoppin'. :)
