HKS Max IV GT Coilovers any good for Street use?

Guys, can anyone tell me if the HKS Max IV GT coilovers are any good for a mainly street driven FD?
The Unit I'm referring to is this:
MAX IV GT

Spring rates seems to be Fr 8kg and Rr 8kg, but I don't know if these HKS's are considered basic stuff ... I'm currently on TEIN HA's, but I'm thinking of going to a fresh set of coilovers.

Any and all input regarding these HKS coilovers are welcome.

Either the MAX IV GT or the MAX IV SP kit ... how would the SP be for a mainly street driven (spirited driving) FD?
MAX IV SP

It says the Max IV SP coilovers have spring rates of 16k front and rear, that is way TOO high for street use - the ride will be a bit jarring. The Max IV GT are a good set of coil overs, although I wouldn't pay the premium for a new set. We do have a set of the hks hipermax sport 3's, which were the predecessor to the MAX IV for $1199 shipped and would be an excellent street solution.

We have a wide array of used coilover options at Rx7 Boutique that come with our full one year warranty. Also have a set of tein super drift coilovers in stock too with a few other options. Shoot me a pm and lets further discuss you goals along with what a suitable solution would be.

Does anyone currently have these coilovers? how are they on the street?

Totally disagree with Purerx7, Yes the spring rates are high @ 16k/16k, HKS does a incredible job with their valving.

I'm currently running the SP's they feel nearly identical to the stock R1 suspension. In fact they are much smoother for daily street driving than the stock. It's an excellent coilover, i will admit it is on a slightly harsher side than the GT's. They come pre-adjusted for settings and ride height recommended by HKS.

We also sell these brand new, the GT's for $1800 shipped and the SP's for $1900 shipped.

Straight from HKS Japan regarding the SP's:

・The spring rate is a little high as 16kg, but the leverage is high and the damping force for bumping is set low, therefore it has less reaction to the road surface and have comfortable driveability.
・It’s not as hard as it seems for the rate, but set to move effectively. We set it for smooth rolling.
・To have a good rear stability, we set the stroke allocation and damping force for better braking and stable traction. It’s also set to have easy and smooth reverse steering control.
