got a question about mito mudular OZ

i own a set of oz mito modulars and was wondering if anyone here knew what size bolts they use, they are a 3 piece wheel and i was wanting to get them refinished but cant find a 10 point socket to fit the bolt in order to break them down. Yea i know a 10 point bolt seems wierd but that is what they are. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Hunter

pictures are real blurry, i can't get them to turn out on a digital camera. anyway the bolts say "O.Z. 10.9" on the head of them and they are a 10 point bolt, any one know where i can find a socket to fit them?

Yeah when I went to get my Work wheels refinished, the shop was glad they weren't 10 point bolts, cuz apparently they're really rare.

Goodluck with it tho!!

Hey HunterB what is exactly u need to get done on the rims? I have the same rims and I found a shop in Fairfield NJ about 8 yrs but I never got a chance to go back becasue of money issues. Also you can have O.Z fix them for you. btw what is your setup? Khris http://www.ozracing.com/oz2005/splash.php

They are 17x8 and 17x10 The wheels are in good shape just dirty as hell no curbs or dents. Basically I want them broke down and repainted the center sections I want dark gunmetal or black, the barrels the same and the lips stripped repolished and cleared and the bolts polished back up! I just dont have the socket to fits that damn 10 point bolt in order to break them down, I have a local shop that will do it for $600 but we cant get them apart. I will ship them to get done for around the same price maybe 700 if someone has the socket that can do it. Let me know if you know of any shop that can do this

Thanks alot
Hunter

IIRC they are common to VW brand vehicals sub assemblies. THere is also a style called "tri-square", but I supect that is a twelve point. Many of these bolts willalso accept a hex, or in your case a 5 point socket. Try calling Forgeline, and asking them about theirs. carl
