Goodyear assenzas

I just purchased a set of these tires and are a great, fairly inexpensive tire. I am very impressed.

I'm glad you like your new tires.

Someone else posted about "assenzas" a while back and I mistakenly thought they had misspelled "Azenis". D'oh! :D However, I am again wondering what they are, as searching on Goodyear.com yields nothing, and searching google for "Goodyear assenzas" yields nothing, and searching for "Goodyear assenza" yields only foreign language posts where none of them seem to indicate that "assenza" refers to a tire. "Assenza" apparently means "absence" in italian. So far, information about the assenza tires lives up to the name. :)

How about posting a picture of your new tires so we can see what they are?

That is what I thought too. They are spelled essenzas and are the type r tire.

Ah, still not on TireRack.com, but "Goodyear Essenza" comes up in google.com.

Tire Rack doesn't carry Goodyear DOT competition tires (R compound) which is why it is not listed on our site. Regrettably i have to say i haven't even heard of them.

I don't think they are R-compound tires, but rather they just have "Type R" as part of the model name.
