front camber adjustment on stock FC?
 

I am about to install a new set of KYB AGX shocks and Tanabe springs. so i will still be using the stock mounting blocks.

I am reading the FSM, and there is a way to slightly increase camber/caster. but i'm not entirely clear on the method of doing this, i want to be fully sure before doing this.

it says, and i assuming this is with everything installed, to rotate the strut so that the mounting block is in a different position.

now, since there are 4 bolts, i can put it into 4 different positions, or 3 different positions from stock.
it gives the following chart:

RIGHT
BA
C.

LEFT
AB
.C

this is how the stock position is. now, by rotating to either A,B,C you change the camber and/or caster:

A- 0 camber, 30' caster
B- 30' camber, 30' caster
C- 30' camber, 0 caster

Now, what i don't understand is when they say 30', is that more or less camber/caster?

30' = 30 "seconds"
60 seconds = 1 degree
So, 30' = half a degree

Oh, and that's inducing more camber or more negative camber, so technically it's -30 seconds.

just look at the top of the strut- it isnt centered in the mounting block. so twist it around so that the strut top is closer to the center, and leaning back. basically, have the strut tops closest to you the driver.

so, changing it to position "B" will give me -30' camber? is that -30 caster also? i don't want to reduce my caster, i want to increase it...

No, it increases the castor by 30'.

alright, thanks for the info guys. i wish the FSM was a little more clear about that. but, i guess i could have worked out the suspension geometry change myself, haha.
