FD3S 5zigen 17" recomended wheels

4 Attachment(s)
I was looking for a old vintage look for my FD3s for a long while (9 years) , I use the car for the street and race at the track (circuit , no drag) , knowing that the 18" wheels don't work well at the track , the only option was 17".

I'm so happy with my choose that I want to share with you my how it goes.
Theses are the 17" 5zingen option that the brand recommend for the car

looks good, what are the offsets?

rexset 06-25-09 03:58 AM

!7" x 8" +35 front
17" x9" +42 rear

Never like the way that the original rear wheels looks very inside the fender , this ones where a perfect fit.
Tires 235/45 R17 and 255/40 R17

I'm also thinkin of the same wheels, different sizes/offsets.

Thanks for sharing yours.

What suspensions are u on? (how much lowered?)

Would you say that 17x9 35 offset would stick out past the front fender?

Nice look by the way. I'm after the same but i'm on s-tech springs which lower A LOT...

I got the eibach springs with koni shocks, suck set up , work good for the street , better than original but the springs and it dosent drop too much the car in the rear , so the nose of the car get very low.
But I will go with the Tein springs the next time , they look lots better, and they work better also.

I ran the 17x10 +25 at all four corners. just rolled the front fenders and light roll on the rear. tucked in the fenders very neatly w/o sticking out and also had the concave face if you like that look of course

Never been my favorite 5zigen wheel, but I'm glad you found something that would work for your needs.
