FD wheel offsets
 

I know this has been addressed but I can’t Sind a simple answer that leaves me confident in ordering wheels.

What offsets would I need to for the following fender setup, tire width, and wheel size:

Feed front fender and stock rear fenders.
Coilovers and aftermarket link/rod.
285/30x18 all around
18x10.5 all around

A 10.5 on a stock rear you're gonna need a +50 at a minimum.

for the front you will need a between a +28-35. It doesnt have to be those exact numbers but the closer the better. Anything below 28 and your going to have to stretch tires or camber a lot. Even with a 10.5 and +3x offset, I would be more concerned about hitting the body or the suspension.

Why a 10.5 in the front? That's massive, I cant imagine a reason for that. Even the FDs they're throwing around the track at tsukuba don't run wheels that wide.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve run 10s up front before in a +50 and they felt good. I’d like to stay square because I like the driving feel. I thought a 10.5 would give just a bit more stretch.

I also remember the +50 in the rear was a little inset. It could use a spacer to flush the look. I don’t however recall what space was left between the suspension and wheel.

Im running 18x11 +45 offset and have run 285s, 295s and 305s so far. Might try 315s next.

Stock body
Rear lip rolled under and no camber.
So, with some camber added could run stock stock rear fenders.
Front fenders rolled with a slight pull and maxed camber.

Just giving you ideas of what fits and how much work.

is that 295 and 305 in the front?

What do you think would be the right offset for a 10.5 and 285 in front with the least camber on 1. Stock fender, 2. Rolled fender?

Top pic is 295 up front and bottom pick is 305 up front.

For least camber you can do 18x10.5 +50 with 285. It will be really close to front shocks and might rub wheel on the lower arm at full lock. It fits in inside same as my 18x11 +45.

18x10.5 +45 would be safer for rubbing on inside but would put the tire in the same place on the outside as my 18x11 +45.

Rolling the lip under with 285 is going to be a must unless you max the camber and run the +50 offset. Its way better to roll the fender than take the chance and have the tire catch it and crease the fender.
