How wide are the factory wheels? Dose anyone know how wide i can go in the back?

245/45/16 should be what you use in the rear and, optionally, on the front as well w/ the stock wheels.

Alright thanks....didnt know how to measure the width. Wasnt sure if it was the same as the size(ex 19 measure 20 from side to side.) Going to get some rims soon and i want to go wider in the back. I dont want them to stick out though. Definatly going with 19's, lookin at the Racing Heart CX multipiece. Should i be ok with a 9.5" wheel in the back? Will it stick out far. I'm eventually going with the Mazda Speed Rear fender flairs so that will give me probly an inch more(estimation) to work with.

I suggest you don't go with 19's. Almost nobody has this on their car. 18's look enormous on the car and that would be my suggestion to you. 9.5 is just fine in the rear as long as you have the correct offset. I run 18x9.5 in back with a +45 offset.

19's are gonna kill your performance, make your speedometer less accurate by even more than 17's or 18's, and its very likely that if you lower the car at all, your tires are gonna slam your fender at any bump. You're also going to have to get VERY low profile tires to get it to fit. This will make your rims very susceptable to bending if you hit a pothole or something like that with speed.

Summary: Go with 18's. You're life will be much easier in the long run.

Not worried about performance, not gonna drag it. Want it to be a fast street car, going to have around 450 at the wheels when im done with the engine, but im also doing a stereo system in the car thats not going to be too light. 3 amps, 1 Sub (w7), Mini Pc, 4 component sets(MB Quart Q) Battary, and fiberglass. Kinda grew out of the street racing thing, too many cops and stupid people. Just want to be able to take whatever pulls up next to me at a light. Got a bike for speed. Doing the car all around, Just want 450hp and 150db.

I still got some research to do. Just finished the transmission swap, going to do the rims next since im about due for a new set of tires. Dont want to waste $600 for tires im only going to use for a cupple months.
