Hi gents,

So Battle Version sent me some rear prototype arms to test out on the FD and I'm really pumped about their quality and I can't wait to get them out on the track. These are the prototypes of the J-Auto/Battle Version arms in case anyone is wondering.

Frist off, they came wrapped in the old school candy "Mary Jane" and "Bit O Honey" wrappers. I'm not sure how they got their hands on un-cut sheets of their wrappers, but it was amusing none-the-less.


Here's a shot of the prototype arms with the stock ones. There are some differences between the prototypes and the arms that will be offered to the public like color and some small design differences.

I'll post up a more detailed review once I get my car on the track (hopefully within the month), but I'm sure they are going to be fully awesome.

I can certainly see where the aftermarket rear, lower arm would have a place...in particular if the bushings are replaceable.

I suspect that for many people it would come down to is the BV arm price less than, equal to, or greater than I stock arm with aftermarket pillow ***** in them?

In regards to the toe link...looks like a nice piece but there are at least a half dozen companies that make them...that look exactly like that so how do they plan on differentiating from what is on the market already?

In regards to your point about price v.s. using a stock arm with aftermarket pillow *****, while the Battle Version link set may end up being a little pricier, you will be able to eliminate four pillow ***** from the rear end which will equal more money in your pocket if you ever need to replace all of them. Also, you gain extra adjustability which you can't get from a stock arm with aftermarket pillow *****. But you're right about the fact that for a lot of people it might come down to price, but in the long run the Battle Version arms seem like a better investment IMO.

Regarding the toe links, Battle Version doesn't skimp when it comes to quality. They use high-quality materials in their products including motorsport grade Teflon-injected rod ends. Sure you could go for cheaper Chinese made knock-offs, but for me, I would much rather support an American company that produces high-quality, track-proven parts.

Hi Scott!

Thank you for understanding I was asking these questions as an interested consumer as opposed to crapping on your thread! Waaaaay too many people don't take the time to think objectively about...well anything. Haha.

I'm very satisfied with my current aftermarket toe links but I am quite interested in the lower arm. I'll be looking forward to your updates.

Edit: Just noticed that it looks like you can only use the lower arm with the BV trailing arm due to the design. =/

I noticed this as well. Would be nice if BV made a trailing arm that was compatible with the stock lower arm as well. This would give people some options if they didnt want to go all out and buy the BV lower arms. I know for myself, I just need trailing arms.
