FD 275/35-18 toyo RA1. Did i screw up?

Help.

Im going to mazfest/sevenstock at the end of this month and will run my FD on track. (willow springs)

I did my homework on wheels and got 18x9.5 +45 enkei RPF1s all around. ( i have stoptech brakes)

I also bought tires but now that im reading up on it, i think i screwed up.

I got 275/35-18 TOYO RA1s all the way around as well. It is the only size available in 18".

Because the toyos are 25.6" diameter are they not going to fit on the front?

thanks.

Ps. I did search

That is tall, from what I've read there's some wiring on the top side of the wheel well that is problematic if rubbed. I guess it depends on if you're fenders are stock and your ride height

Fine for the rear, you want something like 255/35 for the front.

It will fit, but unless you're running stiff springs and adjustable shocks for ride height, it's going to dig into the fender liner and eat the wiring harness.

I ran 275/40 for auto-x and it's 25.4". Tall, but manageable.

It'll also look goofy IMO.

RA1s are great tires, just save a pair of the 275s for later and order some 255/35.

Edit: I see that the ONLY 18" size available is the one you bought. That sucks.

I probably would have went with Nitto NT01's, but the RA1's will most likely be better in the rain....As stated above, the tire size is a bit tall and 275's on a 9.5 is a bit chunky IMO.

It's no different than a 275/40/17 all around set-up, which used to be the norm until 285/30/18's became available.

It's a "track" setup though, and you'd deal with the shortcomings for that reason—because you want that balance for the track. For the street, you can come down on the front tire size. I think Toyo has more sizes in R888, or you can try another brand.
