FC rear lateral links...
I was wondering if there was an alternative to stock lateral links on the fc, i just pulled the subframe on my GTUs and found that the lateral links are worn in the socket. I was wondering if something can be made to be just as reliable using some heim joints and a connecting pipe or should i just shell out the $173 each through mazdatrix. any input would greatly be appreciated. The car is used as a daily driver and a part time autox car, street mod category.

AWR and super now make some. They're both more than $173. AWR requires you to drill out the hole as they use a straight shank bolt. Super now uses the same taper as stock so they bolt in with no issue. Just as reliable is a different story, ball joints will last longer than heims...

awesome links, seeing that both of these are used with heim joints i may infact try to make a set myself.
