FC race/street aligment specs

What do you FC guys set your alignment at. I have a 87 TII with JIC flta2s in the front and tein HAs in the rear. The JICs are way too stiff in the back so i put in the HAs. With 17inch RPO1's, 215 in the front and soon to be 255 in the rear. I also have the rb sway bar set. My current alignment is -1.25 degree of camber in the front and the rear is about -2.5. I dont have a rear camber adjust yet. My toe settings are about .08 degrees toe in on each corner. I have the dtss bushings. I will be going to Streets of Willow in two weeks and would like to make the most of it with a good alignment. I'm looing for a good overall alignment setting for street and race. I do my own alignment at work.

Ride height is 25" +/- .25" on the driver side wheel measured from ground to highest point of wheel well with 225/50/16 tire at 38 psig.

straight line stability isn't that great on the highway if there are ruts/pot hoes etc.
But turn in on the track is amazing.

I run
1/32 toe in front
3/32 toe in rear

-2.4 camber front
-2.6 camber rear

Car is pretty low. F/R balance is 50/50 to the pound with driver and 11gallons of fuel. Handling is perfectly neutral.

Cheers- is your car straight? That would explain why you can't get any more camber. On my horribly crooked car, one side can barely get to 1.5 degrees of negative camber (plate is all the way outside). On the other side (the relatively straight side), the plate is in the middle and I can get all kinds of positive/negative camber.

You did cut the openings on the top of your strut tower, correct? Sorry for the super basic questions, but the GC camber plates allow a lot of camber/caster adjustment.

Ben

No I did not cut the strut towers up. But even if I do I only have maybe another 1/4 inch of adjustment left before the GC bottoms out due to their design. I think the car is relatively straight. Both left and right side of the front camber plates were initally set with a ruler off the car and tightened. Then i installed the plates and I only got a variance of 0.1 degree difference between the left and right... I will post a pic later tonight...

JIC gives your wings!

Really though, I didnt take any special steps to get so much camber. I just maxed out the camber plates. The cars frame is completely straight.

i have tein flex's - the car isnt lowered much at all (i think its actually pretty close to stock ride height right now- i have 245/40/17 up front with about an inch between the top of the tire and the fender), and my max camber up front is 2.5 degrees. in the rear, with the mazdatrix camber link, i got it down to 1.5 degrees (at near stock ride height). gotta pound the chassis with a hammer to get any less.
btw my car has never been in a wreck, but the rear camber is uneven~ 1.5 on one side 1.8 on the other. i dunno if its cuz of the link or what, but im tempted to get the individual adjusters.
