i know these will stick out ALOT, but anyone have any idea how many inch exactly / compare to stock ?
ps. i got a wide body kit sitting at home

25.4mm in an inch


try a bob weight (string w/ weight tied to the end to get a striaght up/down line) and measure off of the wheel hub. that should give you an idea of wha you will need to look at for offsets i would think.

camber and tire size have to be taken into account


stock t2 wheels are 16x7 +40 i believe, but those are kinda sunken inside the wheel wells.


get out a piece of paper and start doing some math


i think ive seen people run those width wheels. i think 9 +20, maybe mid teens, and for 10, +15 or so. these are from memory though......

9" +0 is 4.5" -69 is rougly 2 3/4", so thats 7 1/4" from hub>lip

10" +0 is 5" -52 is roughyl 2", so thats 7" from hub>lip

nope, offset master i am not. in fact do it yourself and ask a lot of other people


i know that people have stuck 9 front and 10 rear under stock fenders flush.
i believe that its like 9 +20 and 10 +15 or so (+/-3mm) and this is just from memory, and i dont have the best memory.
sorry i cant find the thread where the guy had the 18x9s under stock fenders up front. but im sure you can find something if you look hard enough. people have done it before and it is on this forum.

and once again, this is all from memory about other peoples experiences posted on forums, so dont take my word for it. make sure it works yourself

ur offsets are even wilder than mine for my s13 with a blister kit
ill be running 18x10 -12 and 18x10.5 -39 on mine

and YOURS sound rediculous
id look into tubbing your fenders up front cause your going to be hitting a lot of stuff
just cause the offset is so low


i personally look forward to seeing the rims and seeign them on the car and seeing how it will be pulled off

if u find these too wild i have some retarded sized 18s that will fit ur FC with widebody/blister ...

agreed. this crazy offset business hath goneth too far.

 

^^^ well on the bright side, if you add some spacers to these, you could probably set it up so that the inside of the tire is outside of the fender lip, and you won't have to roll them.

 

before asking a wheel fitment question regarding a FC... one should spend a few days reviewing the "The Official FC Wheel Fitment Thread"

Ok here you go:

17x8.0 +30 is ideal imho for stock fender FC

17x9.0 +30 is ideal imho for stock rear fender fc

Based on that you're going to stick out of the stock fender at least

Front: 9" -69 = 8" - 82. so 82 + 30 = 112mm/25.4 = 4.4" FRONT

Rear: 10" - 52 = 9" - 65, so 65+30 = 95mm/25.4 = 3.7" REAR

Hope that helps you. I did this the simpler but longer way so you can see the math on your own.

Remember when going from a 9" +30 to a 10" +30, that half inch goes to inside and half inch goes to outside. Just remember that and you can do the math all day long. I based half inch on 13mm, rounded it up.
