FC front trailing arm bushing doesn't fit?

Hello,

I am half way through installing a TurboII sub-frame in my1986 N/A FC RX7. I ordered the Parts Shop Max trailing arm front spherical bushing conversion:

https://store.partsshopmax.com/shop/...ng/FCTAFB.html

However the new bushings seem to be just a little bit too big (picture attached). There was some rust and old rubber so I cleaned the inside of where the bushing goes thoroughly but the new bushings still don't fit. Anyone on here run into this problem? Do I just need to slam them in there with a press? I will give Parts Shop Max a call next week, but I'm hoping to find a solution so I can salvage this weekend's free time to finish up the car :)

Thanks!

And yes I should said "trailing arm front bushings" in the title, sorry about that!

Alright...I figured I missed something :)

I did more research and finally found this post: https://www.rx7club.com/drifting-226...1013844/page5/

Looks like I haven't removed the inner sleeves yet and that is why the new bushings don't fit, hopefully this helps someone in the future.

A sawzall works well to cut through the sleeves. Just don't over do it and cut into the arm. Once you are through they will fall out or knock out with a tap from a screwdriver or punch.
