FC aggressive wheel offset?
I'm looking for some wheels for my FC (5 lug) and looking for some real aggressive setups.
Staggered preferably, 17's, but you can persuade me 16's are the hotness. Lets see what ya got. So far im considering the 5zigen FN901 but I'm wanting to see others as well. Yes I searched, but I havent seen any FC aggressive wheel threads in particular. |
17x8 20mm offset in the front - tsw jarama
18x9.5 20mm offset in the rear - tsw jarama 235/45/17 up front - bfgoodrich kdw 265/40/18 rear - same thats just me, 1700 once its said and done! peace |
replica FR500 wheels (hella cheap and not too heavy)
17x9 +24 front 245/40/17 17x10.5 +27 rear 275/40/17 http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...C/DSC02445.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...C/DSC02444.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...C/DSC02446.jpg |
how well do those big meats hold traction with the ls1?
|
why would you put an ls1 in a rx7? blasphemer!
peace |
hmmm, the FR500's look pretty good on the FC.
I just ordered the new "hot version" 5zigen FN01's yesterday. 17x10 rear 17x8 front. Gonna be sweet. suspension wise I got KYB AGX shocks with Drop Zone sleeve coilovers cusco camber plates Suspension Technique sways and adj endlinks CP front and rear strut bars Fighters Garage rear camber link I'm waiting for the wheels and tires to arrive before I do any of it. I want to take a weekend and do it all at once. pretty sure I'm gonna have to roll the rear fenders but Fighters Garage is gonna let me use their Eastwood fender roller to get the job done. |

so no ls1? no pistons right? i demand engine bay shot.
and saleen wheels? come on man! peace |
saleen? fr500's arent saleens

Wheels are on back order til end of May/early June supposably so it wont be anytime "soon" til the install. But I'm glad to finally have them on order. |
I'm assuming +35 front and rear, which should be just fine with those tire sizes. you might not need any pulling at all, just fold the inner lip up (rear will be close)

Those FR500's still got me lookin though, lol. Maybe I'll come across a set "Cheap/used" sometime and get me a second set of wheels, lol. |
You wont need any rolling with that wheel /tire combo in the rear (10" wheel, 35mm offset, 245 section tire). I run a 9.5, 35mm offset wrapped in a 265 with no clearance issues at all. That 10" wheel will be awfully close to the trailing arm though :O You actually could probly get away with a 255 and still not need to roll them.

hmmmm, thats good to know. Guess we'll be doin trial fitment before I get the roller from the shop. Thats good to know. I'm hoping with the slight stretch the 245 will have that there will be no clearance issues, but the roller will be on standby just in case.

What the hell does aggressive fitment mean...
I was running 17x9 -7 with 215/40s up front and 18x10 -1 with 225/40s up back.. worked for me.. metal guards with a bit of a lip |
