Falken ZE-512 OR Nexen N3000???

Im really debating on these two tires. What can be said for these two tires? Which are better?

Thanks

512s Suck
N3000 Suck but don't chunk when drifting.

N3000s are also 50% of the price of Falkens.

I wouldn't put a N3000 or 512 on the front of my car to save my life though.

Get Federal 595S if you're looking for cheap grip.

Funny, I've heard that 512 are great for drifting, and that they never chunk.

Im not interested in drifting. I am interested in good grip for hard street use.

I agree than both of those tires suck. Of the two, the 512 is a bit better, but neither one of them should be on an FD, IMO.

Try a set of Hankook RS2

Cheap and super grippy. :)

Well then you need to start looking at GOOD tires, heh. Falken RT-615, or any tire in Tire Rack's Extreme/Maximum performance categories would be a good place to start.....

I have Falken 502's on my car, and they are ~50% tread left. They do ok, except when cornering, braking, or accelerating.

Oh, the car is a FB with a mild SP 12A, and stock brakes. Rear drum, at that..........

KhanArtisT 03-05-07 09:26 PM

I've heard good things about the 512s, cheapest I've seen them is vulcantire.com. Those hankooks look great but he doesn't have them in 205/60/15s (verts). Oh well
