Falken Tires?
Hey guys i was just curious if Falken Tires are any good or not. I have a good price on them but have no experience with them. Any help would be appreciated.

my falken 451's have held up well imo. Enough stick for me and i even drove in snow for 2 1/2 weeks with no problem as long as i kept it in vaccuum.

is $140 for 4 brand new worth it?
|
That's a decent price, depending on the model. The Falkens have fairly stiff sidewalls, which I like.

the FK 451's are probably the best "street" tire for the money.....They take a bit to warm up but hang with the best of the street tires.... I've had everything and there worth the money...Don't know anything about the other models though...However my buddy has the Azeni's or something like that and they didn't last on his WRX

I might be gettin some Falkens for my project Festiva after I get some Mazda 323 alloys from a junkyard. They'll be 175/60/13s and, with the 13" alloy wheels, should make for very little unsprung weight.

Only Falken that are better dry traction then S03 are the Azenis.
They grab just under the A032r in the dry. |

I'm running the 451's and am very happy.
The last street tires I bought were $270 a piece, the Falken's are just as good and alot cheaper and last alot longer. I will use these tires from now on, on both my cars. The Azenis are drag radials so I wouldn't compare them to street tires. |

Gsrsol, Did you get your 451's in DFW area or did you mail order?
|
I'm getting some Azenis sports. I have researched quite a bit. looked at the Pirelli Pzero, Bridgestone S03, Falken Azenis sport, Kumho supras etc and Im going with the Falkens.
They are reasonably priced and grip great. I'll keep you updated |
