so i had a cheapy off brand tire on my drivers side, actually all the tires are, but i wasnt too concerned because im just waiting on my SS brake lines from corksport to do a 5 lug swap. well i found out today what happens if you go over the speed rating on the cheapies. no one or anything was hurt, and the tire is actually still inflated and holds air. and these are pics taken by a camera phone so they arent the best quallity.

Brand & Type of tire: Multi-mile Talon 2000 + 130mph =

Tread seperation. Caused by the carcass of the tire overheating and the tread literally debonding from the tire. You see this on cheap, common trailer tires all the time.

Typically, a tire should not be driven much over its speed rating for very long to be safe. How long were you driving at high speeds?

i have no clue what the speed rating is on the tire, but im pretty sure ive been going over it for quite a while. today i was probably above it for say 10 min. im sure the hell i put my tires threw on a daily basis just tore away at it over time.

Where can you go for 10 minutes at 130 MPH+ in Ohio?

Your tires would have been fine if you had gone to 130, and then slowed right back down. They were not made to stay at that speed for very long.
